Jana Dukovska Despotovska is the founding partner at Popovski & Partners. She is a legal expert with 20 years of experience in the legal sector in the Republic of North Macedonia. She is one of the most experienced IP lawyers in the country. Her vast experience includes various projects focused on copyright, industrial property, IT, competition, consumer protection, privacy and data protection.

Her main focus is Intellectual Property – Industrial Property and Copyright.

Jana’s experience in this area also includes the position of the Deputy Director of the State Office of Industrial Property.

Jana publishes regularly, especially in the field of Intellectual Property, in different national and international editions.

She holds a Master’s Degree in South Eastern European Studies from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, 2000-2001. Jana is also a Visiting Professor for Uniform Private Law at the University American College Skopje.

Jana speaks fluent English and Serbian.
