Employment Law

Laws and regulations that deal with employment law are constantly evolving, striving to strike the hardly attainable balance in the employer-employee relationship. Employment law is considered to be one of the most dynamic fields of law. Legal systems face a very complex task to keep up with the progressive rise of the demands for the upgrade of rights on both sides in the employment relationships. In this sense, since the current Law on Labor Relations in the Republic of North Macedonia was enacted, it has gone through over a dozen of content-wise amendments. Nevertheless, any upgrade of the rights granted to the employers’ or employees’ is of little value if the rights are not being enforced.
